Accreditation

The 8th Palliative Care Congress has been awarded 15 Clinical External Credits.

Accompanying Person
Guests are welcome to join delegates at the social events.  Please indicate, as appropriate, when you book your place.

Charity Status
The Palliative Care Congress is a registered charity and as such does all it can to promote the advancement of education in palliative and supportive care.  The Congress obtains a level of sponsorship to assist in the costs involved in the planning and holding of this event and does all it can to minimise the cost to delegates.

Coach Service
Due to the close proximity to the venue of our recommended hotels, coach transfers from hotels to the venue will not be provided.  Please do bear this in mind when making your accommodation booking.

Coach transportation will be provided for those delegates attending the Congress Dinner at Rhinefield House on 11 March

Dress Code
Dress code for Congress is informal.  The Congress dinner is smart casual (no jeans, short,s tracksuits or trainers)

Exhibition
A trade exhibition will run throughout the three days of Congress.

Insurance
The organisers do not accept responsibility for individual medical, travel or personal insurance and delegates are strongly advised to take out their own personal insurance policies.

Parking

Posters
Posters will be on display in the Purbeck Hall for the duration of Congress.

Smoking
No smoking is permitted inside the BIC, however there is a clearly defined designated smoking area outside at the front of the BIC, which is fully managed and is in compliance with the smoking ban law.

Social Events
Civic Reception, Wednesday 10 March
This will be held in the Purbeck Hall at the BIC from 1745 hrs.  This is a free event but attendance must be confirmed at the time of booking

Congress Dinner, Thursday 11 March
This will be held in The Grand Hall at Rhinefield House, a stunning country house hotel situated in the beautiful New Forest.  We do hope you will join us for the evening. Coach transfers from the BIC will be provided.
