Venue and Travel

The Bournemouth International Centre (BIC)

General Information
The Bournemouth International Centre, known as the BIC, is a multi-purpose conference, exhibition and entertainment venue. By the turn of the millennium, demand for the BIC was well outstripping the space available and so, with significant further investment, a massive expansion and redevelopment programme began.   By 2005, the BIC was transformed into the largest venue of its kind on the south coast .

The BIC’s flexibly arranged meeting space allows accommodation for multi-hall conventions involving over 4,000 delegates and it is, therefore, host to several high profile and professional events each year, including; annual conferences for political parties and other professional bodies, national competitions and exhibitions, concerts, award ceremonies and live television broadcast programmes, as well as local community events.
